Omschrijving: De eucalyptus boom is een hoge groenblijvende boom met lange smalle bladeren. Er bestaan ruim 500 verschillende eucalyptusbomen waarvan en zo'n 20 worden gebruikt om hun etherische olie. Eucalyptus is 1 van de snelst groeiende en hoogste bomen ter wereld.
Extractie: Eucalyptus olie is verkregen via stoomdestillatie van bladeren en twijgen.
Toepassing: Aromateherapie toepassingen, parfumindustrie, schoomaakmiddelen en mondverzorgingsproducten.
Eigenschappen: Antiviraal, bacteriedodend, koortsverdrijvend, krampstillend, ontsmettend, pijnstillend en slijmoplossend.
Werking / helpt bij: Verlichting bij verkoudheid, griep, verlicht hoofpijn en zenuwpijn, insectenbeten, gordelroos en koortslip.
